Played here with the very cool country type band Honky Tonk Train with Bill Maresh, Jane Allingham and Mike "Soupy" Sessa. With Edwing Sankey at a BBQ joint in Lake Perris, CA. Fall 2001. Besides being an all around cool guy, Edwing is an incredible jazz guitar player. Edwing's Barnstormers. Brentwood Artwalk, Fall, 2001. Left to right that's Doug Freeman, Dave Strother, Laura Kass, Paul Greenstein, George Edward, me, and Chaz Smith.

Candye Kane at La Palot Palot, Montbelliard, France, 4/11/98. It's soundcheck, so I'm having fun pounding the skins, Jeff Ross (guitar player) is playing my bass, Sue "Beehive" Palmer is trying to ignore us, and Candye is oogling Jeff. Somewhere in Europe, same tour. Sue and I are checking the anatomical correctness of a European mannequin while Steve Geller looks on, getting ready to jump in. It's all part of the show baby! 5/1/98 at the Mixx in Ternheuzen, Holland.

James Intveld at the Decade in Pittsburgh. 3/9/98. Me and Eddie Perez are having a big time, it's raining outside, and the roof is leaking. I remember seeing both Stevie Ray Vaughan and the Fabulous Thunderbirds at this club in 1984. Jimmy Intveld at the Dixie Belle in LA; 8/18/00. Slappin' it around with Jimmy, same gig.

Jammin' with Gene Autry. That's the Incontinentals; Laura Kass the fiddle player, and Doug Freeman the guitar player, both from the Radio Ranch Straight Shooters.

That's Farina, sometime in 1995 or '96. Woody Jackson (Useless Playboys, Friends of Dean Martinez) playing guitar, and Jenny Homer (Downey Mildew) singing. Here's a period piece. Pretty close to "Hall of Douchebags" quality. What's up with the hat? And vest? Hittin' the big time on the blues scene in Pittsburgh. That's Howard Smith, Mike Sallows, my sister Lucy Van Sickle, Butch Crisafio, and young me. Early 1982.
